B1

Post by Wal » Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:50 pm

Let's assume B1=10 uT. It produces a 90-degree flip angle at 1.5 T, main field. Assuming the same B1 pulse duration, what B1 value will produce the same 90-degree flip angle at 3 T? My answer is 10 uT. Because, flip angle = gamma x B1 x B1 pulse length.

Am I correct?

Thanks.
