MRI Brain images for normal, stroke, tumour and dementia classes

Post by mhelal » Sun Mar 27, 2016 10:26 am

Hello,

I have downloaded BraTS dataset for tumour MRI images:

http://www2.imm.dtu.dk/projects/BRATS2012/index.html

, and OASIS for dementia cases,
http://oasis-brains.org

and for stroke, I used the MRI Lesion Segmentation in Multiple Sclerosis Database:

http://www.medinfo.cs.ucy.ac.cy/index.p ... s/datasets

Our problem is in the normalisation of the images. Every dataset comes with different spatial resolution, and parameters such axial, field of view, AP (Anterior to Posterior), FH (Foot to Head), and so on.

I find that the last dataset has the best quality images but uses several parameters such as SC4, SC5, ..., and different AP and FH values. I think I should create a training dataset for the 4 classes with exactly the same values for all parameters. It should be all T1 weighted structured MRI.

Can you please help me locate MRI dataset for tumour and normal cases at least (and dementia if possible) that are of the same quality as the MRI Lesion Segmentation in Multiple Sclerosis Database mentioned above.

Thank you very much for your help,
