Dark bone spots

Post by tisho97 » Fri Feb 22, 2019 10:30 am

Hi people! I hope this is the right place to post this.

I just got an MRI done on my knee, as it hurts on and off for the past 2 years.

The doctor said my ligaments and cartilage/menisci are completely intact, however, there seemed to be something abnormal in the femur bone. Still waiting for final results but I decided I'd ask for more than 1 opinion. The other doctor supposes bone sclerosis. I'm 21.

Picture for reference attached. What they said is abnormal is the black spots on the femur bone, circled in red. I can send the full MRI if needed.

Thanks in advance

It is unlikely that users of this forum can offer advice.
It's all physics here, not clinical (anatomical/radiological) expertise.

Definitely looks like something a medical doctor should take a look at.
