Turning on JavaScript
This site supplies instant responses to answers submitted to questions using JavaScript. Turning JavaScript on in your browser is not a significant security risk; nearly all browsers have JavaScript enabled...yours is unusual!
To turn on JavaScript in IE 6:
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
- Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
- Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
- Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
To turn on JavaScript in Firefox 1.5:
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Content globe icon.
- Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Click OK to leave Options.
To turn on JavaScript in Opera 8.5:
- Press F12.
- Press J.
To turn on JavaScript in Safari 1.1:
- From the Macintosh file menu, select Safari and then Preferences.
- select the Security option (padlock icon).
- Under Web Content options, check the Enable Javascript checkbox.
- Click OK and close the Preferences dialog.
